Velotour mit Niklas

Obwohl schon eine Weile her, möchte ich dieses spezielle Wochenende doch noch erwähnen. Es war sozusagen der erste Vater-Sohn-Tag, Männerzeit, wichtig für Niklas' Entwicklung und seine Identifikation als Mann :)
Niklas hat sich schon immer eine Velotour gewünscht. So fuhren wir von Ostermundigen zum TCS Campingplatz an der Kappelenbrücke (via Worblaufen, Bremgarten). Dort schlugen wir unser kleines Zelt auf, planschten ein wenig im Pool und hüpften auf dem Gummpischloss. Danach assen wir das mitgebrachte Abendessen und legten uns in unseren Schlafsäcken aufs Ohr.
Leider war der nächste Tag nicht mehr so schön. Wir erwachten bei Regen, packten ein nasses Zelt ein, vergasen ein Foto zu machen, kamen aber Gott sei Dank einigermassen trocken nach Hause.
Niklas' Kommentar: Die Velotour hat ihm nicht so gefallen. Es war ein wenig weit (je eine Stunde Weg). Wahrscheinlich wäre er lieber mit dem Auto hingefahren – Kanadier der er ist.

Bücher über Papua-Neuguinea

Zur Zeit stecken wir im Prozess, uns auf unsere neue Heimat einzustellen. Dazu gehört auch das Sammeln von verschiedenster Information zu Papua-Neuguinea. Eine gute Möglichkeit dazu sind Bücher — vom Reiseführer bis zum Erlebnisbericht, vom Sachbericht zum Roman.
Vielleicht seit ja auch ihr daran interessiert etwas mehr über dieses Land und seine Leute zu erfahren. Vielleicht darum, weil ihr euch in die Umstände hinein denken wollt, in denen wir in Zukunft leben werden; vielleicht aus persönlichem Interesse; oder vielleicht, weil ihr euch auf den Besuch bei uns vorbereiten wollt :)
Was auch immer die Gründe: Mit diesem Post starten wir ein neues Label "Bücher", welches Literatur vorstellt, die wir gelesen haben und empfehlen können.
